The premium Nicaraguan cigar brand Condega Cigars has already announced the lucky winners of last November’s draw prized with an all-expenses-paid oenological trip for two people to the Valduero wine cellar. Located in the heart of the beautiful Ribera del Duero, this region is the motherland of excellent wines renowned around the world. Next April, the lucky five, along with their companions, will be guests and privileged visitors of one of the best wine cellars in Spain, the birthplace of wines that have become gastronomic jewels of oenology. Their wines are enjoyed by all kinds of outstanding companies and celebrities such as the tenor Plácido Domingo, the exmanager of the Spanish national football team, Vicente del Bosque, or the Michelin awarded Spanish chef, Martín Berasategui, among others. The visitors will discover Valduero’s surprising tunnels excavated in the mountains where more than 4,000 oak barrels and a million bottles of one of the best Spanish wines are stored after being grown on 500 acres of vineyards.
During their guided tour, the winners will taste up to five wines aged in one of the three underground caves that Valduero wine cellar treasures at a depth of more than 20 metres. Their earthy walls give the wine the perfect humidity, temperature and silence for ageing perfectly in barrels. Likewise, the lucky winners of the draw will taste an authentic Castilian food inside a 15th-century house that still preserves elements of the period, although it has been completely restored to naturally integrate all the comforts of the current century.
Also, the winners will rest peacefully in a four-star hotel located in Aranda del Duero. The stay at the hotel, as well as all the expenses associated with transportation to and from Valduero wine cellar, are borne by the Condega Cigars brand, as specified in the rules that were confirmed by the Valencian public notary Mr Pablo Noguera.

The resting times of the fermented tobacco leaf (ageing) as well as those of the already macerated vine (ageing) are equally important and the key to obtaining a product of excellence.
