Fernández buys Tabacalera Tropical and acquires brands such as Don Juan, Cacique and Condega

2003

Casa Fernández launches the Corojo 1999, Condega’s signature tobacco

2004

Eduardo Fernandez hires Don Arsenio Ramos, one of the top tobacco experts in Cuba

2011

Fernández opens a new factory in Miami, FL., to supply the huge demand of the american market.

Tabacalera Tropical / Casa Fernandez wins the best factory of the year award by Cigar Coop

2015

Tabacalera Valle de Jalapa gets recognized as Factory of the Year by Halfwheel

2015

Spanish entrepreneur Ramón Zapata established an strategic alliance to develop and expand the brand worldwide through Gesinta International Tobacco Company

2016

Tabacalera Valle de Jalapa wins the Factory of the Year award for the second consecutive year by Halfwheel

2017

Gesinta International Tobacco Company starts distributing Condega around Europe and focuses on its international expansion
